'What beauty, fury and integrity Myth of the Savage Tribes possesses is given to us as synthesis from the off, a work of generosity... whose satire, whose poise and whose vehemence is all the more affecting because of its volatile chemistry. In these poems we are asked to awaken, to participate, to refuse our laxity. I was left asking myself what is collaboration but a way of refusing alienation through the creative act? and what is the poetry I find before me but a way of voicing integrity. I can offer no higher praise.'
